The weather gave us a wonderful weekend to enjoy some good quality racing. We were able to get in 3 rounds of qualifying and the mains before the sun went down. There were some new announcements made at the drivers meeting. Tech has been dropped and it will be on the driver’s honor system to make sure they are legal. The officials do reserve the right to call any one into tech at any time for any reason. Also this will be the last year for house transponders. MyLaps (formerly AMB) is no longer supporting them. Even after sending ours in last year for a full rework, they are just not holding up. So next year MORL will require personal transponders. We are looking into offering some personal transponders for rent, but we are not sure if we will be able to do that.
